Overview

LMI is seeking a skilled Logistics Analyst at our cliet site. Successful LMI Analyst demonstrate competency in logistics and must perform Advisory & Assistance Services to support the United States Space Force (USSF) Headquarters Mission Support Directorate (S4O), whose portfolio of support includes but not limited to a variety of logistics support for Weapon Systems Sustainment, Installations and Mission Support activities. The Contractor team shall provide detailed reports, updates or briefings to leadership and stakeholders to support COAs and decisions for USSF/COO/S4O. The contractor team is expected to participate in meetings/forums, as well as coordinate, consolidate, develop, and deliver required materials. This is a hybrid role (Washington, DC client site and telework).

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and synthesize resourcing activities in areas such as Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) support, and Planning, Programing, Budgeting and Execution (PPBE) activities for Installations and Facilities support and Weapon Systems Sustainment, which includes supporting execution tracking, and other budgetary activities supporting the directorate.
  • Analyze, review, and respond with recommendations and assist with providing support for Joint Staff tasks, strategic-level processes and reviews for areas such as joint capabilities, strategic plans and concepts development.
  • Be able to brief and write in a variety of venues to inform USSF leadership about operation impacts on USSF programs and activities.
  • Monitor and incorporate USSF organizational strategy and leadership direction, including business process reengineering activities.
  • Must have senior office operations experience and good communication skills, written and spoken, as well as excellent customer relations. Contractor must be able to work calmly in a fast-paced and hectic environment, with a strong ability for attention to details, and organizational skills. Contractor must be proficient in analyzing and resolving problems related to office projects, coordination, and recommendations for course of actions.
  • Must have expertise in executing project documentation requirements, establishing and de-conflicting scheduling needs of the S4O and staff regarding project requirements, to include meetings.
  • Strong knowledge and aptitude in using modern computer applications, and a variety of communication technologies. Contractor must also be proactive and able to work independently as well as interdependent with staff and outside organizations.

Qualifications

MINIMUM:

  • A minimum, a bachelor’s degree, and five to ten (10) years of Logistics, Installation and Facilities type experiences.
  • Must have the ability to support complex teams,
  • Work multiple tasks,
  • Work under pressure and within short deadlines, and interpret strategic guidance from Senior Leaders.

DESIRED SKILLS

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills,
  • Strong analytical skills,
  • Ability to advise and communicate effectively with senior clients
  • Ability to organize and lead meetings efficiently, and
  • Experience in building partnerships across teams or organizations.
  • Must have active DoD Top Secret clearances at the interim level required to start on the project.
