LMI is seeking a skilled Logistics Analyst (Team Lead) in San Antonio, TX to support our Defense Health Agency (DHA), Medical Logistics Division client. Our client supports DoD’s medical readiness mission by enhancing inter-Service medical department cooperation, promoting interoperability, and providing a forum for joint clinical coordination of medical materiel issues.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include:
- Serve as the logistics team lead in support of standardization actions and efforts.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis of logistics operations, including application of analytical and simulation models.
- Support and lead projects that re-design or enhance system-support via logistics policies and processes.
- Apply business process improvement practices to re-engineer methodologies, principles, and business process modernization projects.
- Apply data collecting, analyzing, modeling, transaction flow analysis, internal control and risk analysis, modern business methods, and performance measurement techniques.
- Assist in establishing standards for information systems procedures.
- Prepare Business Case Analysis on topics related to the performance of the resultant contract and for developing and applying enterprise-wide information models for use in designing and building integrated, shared software, and database management systems.
- Provide business improvement projects after identifying, proposing, and prioritizing opportunities which will provide the optimal value to the enterprise consistent with corporate information management guiding principles and open system architecture objectives.
- Conduct research into logistics operations, including literature reviews, interviews, and site visits.
- Communicate and coordinate with various stakeholders across multiple agencies.
Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or other related scientific or technical discipline is required
- Five (5) plus years experience in medical logistics, medical materiel standardization, supply chain management, project management methods, processes and terminology.
- Experience with data collection analysis, requirements analysis, systems analysis and design, program design, and documentation preparation.
- Experience in the implementation of healthcare standardization and business re-engineering of medical healthcare systems.
- Strong quantitative skills, including the ability to use spreadsheet, database, and project management software.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly acquire and apply domain-specific expertise through on-the-job training and professional development training.
- Superior communication skills, both oral and written.
- Self-directed, detail oriented in completing assigned tasks, able to adapt to changing work efforts and manage impact of shifting priorities.
- Available for occasional travel.
- Ability to pass a US government background investigation; US citizenship required
DESIRED SKILLS
- Strong understanding of the DoD MHS enterprise including but not limited to the operational enviornment.
- Solid foundation in DHA and Service medical logistics operations
