Job Summary: The Patient Services Coordinator performs complex and sensitive administrative support functions. Serves as a liaison between the Radiation Medicine Patients, property owners, various speakers' bureaus, and the department. Handles confidential patient information. Coordinates multiple projects from inception to completion with minimal supervision and in a fast paced environment. Utilizes interpersonal skills to maximize excellence in customer service and professionalism. These services may be provided for both the LLUMC and LLUCH hospitals. Performs other duties as needed.

Education and Experience: Associate's Degree in the field of healthcare, administration, business or other related field required. Minimum one year of experience in tourism, real estate and/or property management industries preferred.

Knowledge and Skills: Intermediate to Advanced proficiency in software applications necessary to the position, e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point. Able to read; write legibly; speak in English with professional quality; use computer, printer and software programs necessary to the position. Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively and professionally with others; be assertive and consistent in following policies; work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure; collaborate; accept direction. Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone; think critically; work independently with minimal supervision; perform basic math functions; manage multiple assignments effectively; work well under pressure and in a fast paced environment; problem solve; organize and prioritize workload; recall information with accuracy; pay close attention to detail. Able to distinguish colors as necessary; hear sufficiently for general conversation in person and on the telephone, and identify and distinguish various sounds associated with the workplace; see adequately to read computer screens, and written documents necessary to the position.

Licensures and Certifications: Valid driver's license required at time of hire.
