Overview
The orthodontic treatment coordinator plays an important role on the orthodontic team. The treatment coordinator is primarily responsible to present and explain treatment options and setup financial arrangements for orthodontic treatment. You will get to work closely with the both the orthodontist and patients as you help patients understand their options and why the treatment is important to their health and well-being. In addition to working with patients this candidate would also coordinate treatment with other dental offices. The ideal candidate would be organized, a good communicator, and comfortable discussing finances.
Experience: 2 Years minimum
Duties
- Traveling with orthodontist to each location(Tumwater, Aberdeen)
- Presenting detailed treatment and financial options to patients
- Following-up with non-committed patients to start treatment.
- Creating and submitting Pre-Authorizations
- Collecting co-payments
- Call on pending treatment/pre-authorized treatment
- Answering the incoming telephone calls efficiently and in a friendly manner
- Filing, copying, faxes, mail, and other office related duties
- Following up on lab cases
- Preparing letters to communicate with other dentists

About You
You love working with patients. You can communicate clearly and effectively in a way that patients understand. Having at least one year of previous experience as a treatment coordinator in a dental practice is preferred as well as the ability to understand insurance plans.
