Responsibilities:
- Set up and breakdown rooms for all procedures
- Assist doctor with all procedures- 4 hand dentistry
- Prepare patient for treatment- take vitals, obtain consents, ensure comfort
- Review medical and dental history
- Obtain necessary diagnostic procedures which may include radiographs and intraoral photos
- Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records
- After each patient, sterilize operatory and instrumentation according to regulation
- Stock/restock room with instruments and supplies prior to each procedure
- Assist with schedule coordination
- Perform lab duties as instructed
Required:
- Proven experience as a dental assistant- willing to train
- Radiology Education and training that meets state requirements
- Compliance with all health & safety regulations and state dental practice requirements.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and sterilization methods.
- Coronal Polishing experience
- Computer proficiency and the ability to learn new programs.
- Excellent communication and people skills with the ability to build rapport with others.
- Well-organized, detail oriented and reliable.
- Ability to demonstrate high ethical standards.
- Bilingual (preferred)
Pay: Starting at $12/HR DOE Monthly bonus potential
