Looking for a full time Transporation driver to join our team. Must have the spirit to serve in your heart for our unique, private nonprofit retreat. The Full-Time position shift is 1:30 - 9:30pm. We are located 40 mins west of Denver, just past Conifer on highway 285. Easy commute and less traffic and more scenic than typical Denver commutes. Perfect for people living in Conifer, Evergreen, Morrison, Littleton, Lakewood and Englewood. Straight shot on 285.

Our Campus: As a unique nonprofit retreat for the education community, we are looking for team members who are passionate about our work and mission. Lone Rock retreat is a 7-acre village nestled into the hillside with 60 rooms, a lodge, seminar training facility and wellness building. Given our beautiful location in Bailey and altitudes of 8,000 - 8,500 our team members need to have endurance, the ability to lift, climb, carry, and most importantly have fun!

The Role: Transportation Attendant

Position reports directly to Facilities Manager

Responsible for transporting our guests and internal team members from parking lots to campus.

Help coordinate parking of vehicles when guests are arriving by car. Ensure only one bus goes up at a time.

Handle all courier needs and local errands for the facility.

Deliver packages to the needed location on arrival/departure days.

Assist in transport of any last-minute guest equipment requests.

Drive property laundry to and from Denver laundry facility. Lift property laundry in and out of van and return from Denver laundry facility.

Assist Facilities team with guest requests that arise during their stay with us.

Help carry, lift, and deliver guest luggage on arrival and departure days between cabins and welcome.

Communicate with guests and staff via tech apps and smartphone. Respond to guest needs via app.

Cleaning fleet of vehicles, golf carts, and ATV's

Restock standard vehicles supplies daily.

Keep the Maintenance building clean including the bathroom.

Wash and dry small loads of in-house laundry (rags, cleaning cloths, slippers, etc).

Escort emergency vehicles to needed location.

Install and remove, as needed, tire socks during winter conditions.

In winter, assist in wiping off snow from guest cars.

Report any accidents or incidents immediately.

Transportation summary is not an all-inclusive list and any operational requests from a property manager should be done as well.

Abilities and requirements

• Required to have a current driver license as well as clean DMV record.
• Required to have a passion for serving others.
• Required to have an operating cell phone and ability to communicate via an app.
• Required to drive at speed limits and always practice legal rules of the road and high safety levels.
• Ability to use phone apps to punch in / out.
• Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed, and accuracy.
• Ability to offer high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Ability to troubleshoot challenges, problem solve and diffuse high-tension situations.
• Ability to communicate with others in a manner that is professional and respectful.
• Ability to read, write and verbally communicate.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Ability to walk, climb stairs and perform at altitudes up to 9000.
• Physical capacity to navigate natural terrain, stairs, and potentially slippery surfaces due to winter conditions.
• Ability to stand or walk for an extended period or for an entire work shift. Role requires repetitive motion.
