At this time, we are seeking, Specialty Drugs Inventory Management Specialist. This is a newly created position and will play big part in supporting our infusion nurses and infusion department
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Monitor and maintain current inventory levels, and replenish stocks as needed based on infusion schedule
· Records and tracks daily purchase, maintain database, performs physical count of inventory on a monthly basis and reconciles actual stock to that of the inventory management system, in this case it is Lynx
· Process and document product returns and delays by the distributors
· Conduct regular audits and reconcile discrepancies in inventory
· Help develop efficient inventory control system across all locations
· Sometimes this position may require coordination with infusion nurses regarding purchase orders, stock transfers and deliveries
· Provide monthly reporting to the management regarding total purchases for the month, stocks in shelf and provide forecasting for future purchase
· Ability to understand infusion timelines based on drugs within 6 months
Qualifications:
· Critical and analytical thinking
· Good understanding of systems and reports and ability to interpret and manipulate reports
· Medium to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
· Bachelors required
· Previous experience with inventory management is highly desired
· Ability to travel to other location to get inventory count on a monthly basis
