The District Response Manager reports directly to the Regional Response Manager with additional oversight from the Corporate Operations Manager and/or President and is part of the Field Operations Team.

The Hazmat District Response Manager oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of hazardous materials within a designated district. Responsibilities typically include developing response protocols, conducting training exercises, coordinating with the local authorities and emergency services, managing personnel and resources, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and assessing and mitigating environmental impacts. Additionally, they may be responsible for liaising with government agencies, industry partners, and community stakeholders to enhance preparedness and response capabilities.
Job Responsibilities
· Lead, Manage, Accountability
· Be able to perform all responsibilities of a Response Technician and a District Response Manager.
· Execute all aspects of ER and Non-ER field work related to Initial Emergency Response, Remediation, Waste Packaging and Disposal, and site clean-up.
· Computer literate, to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, web-based apps, LSHR HazGen 2:15, and other computer programs such that all aspects of incident reporting are performed as needed on a regular basis per company timelines and expectations.
· Oversee the safety of all LSHR staff both during ER & Non-ER work, as well as others involved in the work provided by LSHR, such that work performance meets the standards of LSHR and the expectations of our customers.
Qualifications for District Response Manager:
· High School Diploma or equivalent experiences
· 40-Hour Hazwoper Certification
· 6-12 months Supervisory Experience within ER settings
· Current Class C Driver’s License
· General Knowledge of basic chemicals and fuels
Job Promotion or Pay Raise Considerations:
· Equipment Operating Skills for both light duty and heavy duty
· Zero driving violations for extended period (extended to mean 1 year at minimum)
· Zero disciplinary actions within company or with society law enforcement
· Firefighting or Emergency Medical training or equivalents
· Ongoing employee training and company policies/procedures
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
