Job description
($18-$21/hour based on experience. Position requires 25 -30 hours Monday through Friday)
LoneStar Exams is looking for a Part-Time Front Desk Assistant with Texas Workers' Compensation experience. You must possess a friendly, energetic and enthusiastic personality. This position requires excellent interpersonal skills.
You should possess a strong commitment to dealing with patients and referring doctors and their offices, making them your sole focus of attention.
RESPONSIBILITIES
± Scheduling of patient appointments for Evaluations for Maximum Medical Improvement/Impairment Ratings
± Confirm all appointments
± Ongoing contact with clients via phone and e-mail
± Prepare paperwork for each patient
± Perform blood pressure and temperature
± Other duties as assigned
± Will wear an assigned uniform/scrubs
± All duties are to be performed with a positive attitude
EDUCATION:
± High School Graduate or Equivalent
EXPERIENCE:
± One-year clinical experience in related medical setting preferred
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
± Excellent communication skills
± Microsoft Office computer skills to generate patient reports and all other miscellaneous information
± Displays enthusiastic attitude
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
± Perform tasks within the Light/Medium work level (maximum lift of 30 pounds)
± Is able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time
± Is able to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, turn, twist, and bend at the waist
± Is able to lift supplies and equipment (30 pounds maximum) occasionally and reach for, lift, carry, and handle relatively light equipment and supplies frequently
± Is able to push carts and equipment
VISUAL, HEARING, AND DEXTERITY DEMANDS:
± Finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination is necessary for performing client treatment and clerical duties
± Requires concentrated visual attention, which must be maintained for sustained periods
± Good vision and hearing acuity is required to record data, answer calls, and work with clients

FACILITY HOURS: 8:00 A.M. TO 5:00 P.M. FLEXIBLE WORKING HOURS ARE REQUIRED.
