Position Summary
You will perform administrative and service tasks and will assist the Building Intelligence, Mechanical HVAC, and Security Solutions Service groups by performing various support functions for customers, service technicians and sales that support LONG Building Technologies’ Anchorage, AK location.
Pay Range: $22 - $26 per hr. depending on experience.

Responsibilities
Administrative
- Answer incoming phone calls and accurately route calls using professional and pleasant phone etiquette
- Coordinates with customer and confirms the time a service technician has been scheduled to perform the required work
- Maintains frequent communications with the field, sales and management personnel
- Communicates to customer immediately when schedules changes or requests cannot be accommodated
- Provides customer with confirmation of work completed with phone calls and reports
- Assist with a variety of computer-related tasks
- Parts requisition and delivery to jobsites
- Material and equipment purchase ordering
- Support maintenance planning and tracking
- Assures that no work is performed outside contractual obligations without compensation
- Provides sales with qualified leads and alerts sales about competitive sales efforts
- Other duties, as assigned
Technician Support Responsibilities
- Assist field technician’s with materials and equipment pricing and ordering
- Coordinate distribution of materials, parts and equipment
- Scheduled service agreement materials procurement and tool management
- Assist Service Technicians with setup, repairs, and manual labor
Sales Support Responsibilities
- Estimate and produce document field repair proposals for technician’s
- Assist in estimating and producing documents for service agreement proposals
- Assist sales staff with estimating and proposals
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Good written and verbal communication with all levels of the organization
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to work independently while consistently meeting deadlines
- Excellent time management and task prioritization
- Ability to reach/stoop, climb ladders, function at heights, and in tight, confined spaces.
- Ability to solve problems

- Indoor, office environment, occasional work site visit
