What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Manager - Baths position at Long Home Products?
Long Home Products, an established, home improvement company since 1945 is in search of a Production Manager to join our team! This position will be based in our Riverview, FL location.
The Production Manager provides daily oversight and management to the installation and service teams, ensuring all jobs are completed on schedule and within budget for all residential home improvement projects throughout our footprint. The department orders materials, coordinates installation with subcontractors and customers, and resolves service and warranty requests.
Core Areas of Responsibility:
Manage and supervise the Installation and Service teams on a daily basis; provide direct leadership, management, and support to the team
Ensure that departmental goals are met and adhere to established policies and procedures
Accountable for completion of projects on time, within budget, and within quality standards, to meet business performance expectations
Troubleshoot and resolve escalated customer service issues to maintain customer satisfaction
Evaluate and select subcontractors in all markets for quality, cost, and reliability
Oversee the ordering of materials to ensure quality and cost control
Ensure all installation processes are followed consistently; conduct job site inspections and evaluations of the final product delivered by the subcontractors
Act as a key member of the Leadership Team, proactively contributing to the company’s continued growth, improvement, and advancement
Participate in corporate initiatives and process improvements as needed
Desired Skills/Experience:
5 years experience in the home remodeling industry, (bath, windows, and doors experience a plus)
3 years of construction and installation experience as a project supervisor or foreman required
Knowledge of construction and code requirements
Resourceful problem-solving abilities
Manager or production supervisor experience a plus
Excellent organizational, time management, multi-tasking and skills while managing information for multiple jobs
High School Diploma/GED
Versatility and a willingness to work within changing priorities
Strong ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
