Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the registered nurse, participates in the planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care. Performs direct, technical nursing care functions in accordance with the physician treatment plan and the patient’s plan of care. Observes the patient, notes patient’s responses, records pertinent information and reports significant information regarding the patient to the registered nurse. Works collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to meet the holistic needs of the patient. Participates in the orientation process of new employees.
