Receptionist / Office Assistant
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized Receptionist / Office Assistant to join an Educational Institution. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for guests and provide general office support to the staff. The position requires excellent communication skills, a welcoming demeanor, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
Responsibilities:
Welcome and announce visitors, guests, and vendors to the Institution in a friendly and professional manner.
Manage incoming phone calls, direct calls to appropriate personnel, and take accurate messages when necessary.
Provide basic administrative support, including data entry, filing, and document organization.
Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries, and distribute them to the appropriate recipients.
Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory, placing orders as needed.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or similar role.
Exceptional interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word and Excel.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to learn industry specific web-based software program.
