If you have a passion for excellence, seek opportunities to engage in mission critical work, and consistently exceed expectations, apply now to join our professional family.POSITION DESCRIPTIONThe main duties include, but are not limited to:Performs routine construction engineering assignments at the Los Alamos National Laboratory (LANL), Requires a full working knowledge of construction engineering practices and the exercise of professional judgment within the framework of established guidelines,May have leadership responsibility for less experienced construction engineers,May be specializing in a single field or area, or assuming a lead role in a specific segment of a construction project.EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s degree OR a minimum of of 8 years of actual related work experience. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSAbility to obtain a Q clearance, Experience with Microsoft office suite, Ability to work in a diverse work environment, Pre-placement physical examination, which includes drug screening, and inclusion in random drug testing program,Ability to fulfill and promote L&A core values.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONSPrevious experience on DOE sites and  programs,Desired certifications include CWI, NICET, BICSI ICC Inspector, ASME B31.LOCATION Los Alamos National Laboratory – Los Alamos, New MexicoThis position requires 99% on-site work (minimal telework) and is contingent on ability to gain site access to Los Alamos National Laboratory.LANL is a multidisciplinary research institution dedicated to enhancing national security by ensuring the safety and reliability of the U.S. nuclear stockpile, developing technologies to reduce threats from weapons of mass destruction, and solving problems related to energy, environment, infrastructure, health, and global security concerns.
