What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN ICU Full Time position at Longview Regional Medical Center?
The Registered Nurse administers professional nursing care to patients; assesses patient status; implements nursing interventions to modify or alleviate nursing care needs of patients or significant others with ages varying from adult to geriatric. Patient care plans are developed, implemented, and evaluated to promote recovery and ensure a safe and therapeutic environment. Demonstrates an ability to respond to and provide direction to a changing workload in a positive and professional manner. Promotes a harmonious work environment. Demonstrates compliance to the CHS Service Excellence Standards of Performance at all times
Experience:
1. Previous Cardiac/ Telemetry preferred
2. Dysrhythmia Interpretation Course preferred
3. Previous Critical Care Course preferred
Licenses/Certificates:
- Current Texas RN license or current Compact state license
- CPR certifications: AHA or ARC BLS
- Advanced Life Support must be obtained within 9 months of hire/transfer date
- TNCC must be obtained within 18 months of hire/transfer date
Advanced certifications and training in Critical Care Nursing preferred
Salary : $66,400 - $84,100
