The Riverfront School is an accredited alternative school that partners with local school districts to provide individual education opportunities to youth. Riverfront's mission is to "guide and support youth in developing the knowledge, responsibility, and the social skills necessary for productive citizenship." Riverfront also operates as a Career Center for students with the goal to link academic and occupational learning for each youth.
People who excel in this role have a minimum of two years of supervisory experience working with diverse and at-risk youth, preferably in an on-the-job training setting of trail building, conservation, general construction, or youth services corps work program. Alternative education setting experience is preferred but not required. Qualified candidates have a bachelor's degree and vocational/technical training in at least one of the following: landscape architecture, forestry, resource management, conservation, wetlands management, environmental studies, park management, carpentry, construction, or a related field.

This is a temporary position set for 6/24-8/23. It is a full-time, 40 hours/week position, M-Th 7am-5pm at $20/hr.
