What are the responsibilities and job description for the Biology Teacher position at Loomis Institute?
The Loomis Chaffee School announces a search for a full-time Biology Teacher to begin teaching in August of 2022. The ideal candidate has a minimum of three years of teaching experience, an advanced degree in the discipline, and several years’ experience conducting life science research in an industry or academic context. This candidate should have the ability to teach college level biology courses such as Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, and Cell Biology, as well as to run a small, guided research program in an area of their expertise.

Loomis Chaffee is a boarding school and in addition to teaching Mathematics, other responsibilities could include dormitory residence or association and participation in the afternoon program at the school in a manner commensurate with the candidate’s skills.
