ABOUT THE COMPANY: Our company is focused on photovoltaic equipment manufacturing providing innovative green energy solutions for customers in the industrial, commercial, and residential markets.
JOB SUMMARY: The Accounting Manager reports to the Chief Financial Officer and is responsible for providing expertise in financial, project accounting, accounting services, and implementing company finance policy including:
BASIC JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Working with the CFO to ensure accounting processes are compliant with US Government Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
- Supporting the CFO in managing banking operations and internal controls over writing checks and approving wire transfers.
- Working with the CFO to identify and implement accounting systems continuous improvement plans.
- Working with the CFO and outside CPA to file accurate and timely tax returns.
- Oversee and contribute to ongoing accounting records update and financial report preparation (statutory accounts, management accounts, cash flow reports, and hoc reposting).
- Coordinate with other firm departments such as payroll and audit.
- Evaluate and enhance team processes and procedures, focusing on technology-driven efficiencies.
- Review team members’ work, provide support and training, and manage workload.
- Plan team workload, meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and manage staffing.
- Provide cover for colleagues during absences to ensure service continuity.
Experience/Education/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or any related field
- Proficient in QuickBooks
- Experience with NetSuite
- 4-6 years of accounting experience required.
- 3 years’ experience in management.
