JUNIOR INTERIOR DESIGNER
Our Atlanta office is looking for a highly motivated Junior Interior Designer with excellent communication skills and is able to work well both independently and collaborate with people at all levels of the firm. LAS is seeking someone who helps determine and implement construction and design solutions for our interesting projects and clientele. We want designers to grow in their experience and methodology and eventually manage their own fabulous projects.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have at least 3 years of experience in an office environment
- Professional degree in Interior Design required
- Knowledge of interiors finishes and the contract furniture industry
- Detailing architectural elements and finishes.
- Interfacing with clients, architects, and builders.
- Coordinating vendors, fabricators, and craftsmen.
- Strong design skills and proven ability to visually communicate design ideas are essential
- Experience with a range of project types including education, multifamily and workplace
- Self-motivated individual able to work well in a highly collaborative office environment
- Ability to handle job stress, deadlines and interact effectively with others in the workplace is an essential function of the job
- Strong Revit and production skills a must
- Good computer skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft and Adobe Suite required
