Perioperative Registered Nurse: Ortho and Spine Experience

Busy ambulatory surgery center located in Anaheim, CA. We are currently looking for an OR Perioperative nurse with Ortho and Spine experience. Candidate must be a team player that works well with others, is willing to take on additional duties as needed, and is willing to also help with pre-op and recovery. Experience in ASC setting is a plus.

Responsibilities of the OR circulating nurse include:

The Perioperative RN is required to collect, interpret, record and communicate pertinent data that is relevant to the c are appropriate to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in the operating room. The Perioperative RN provides direct care to patients to meet their physical and psychological needs appropriate to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. The Perioperative RN continuously evaluates the patient’s response to nursing interventions and modifies the nursing care plan to achieve the desired outcomes. Collaborates with other disciplines to revise the patient care plan according to changing needs of the patient appropriate to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. Other duties as assigned that are within the scope of practice and purpose of the position.

REQUIRED: Current California Registered Nursing License. ACLS and BLS required.

3 years recent OR experience in multi-specialty hospital or surgical center.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
