Job Overview:
We’re seeking engaging, outgoing individuals to join our experiential marketing team. As part of a dynamic four-person team, you’ll be responsible for setting up and breaking down sports activations, collecting data, handing out swag, and engaging with the fan base at various college sporting events. This role is perfect for someone who loves interacting with people, thrives in a lively atmosphere, and is eager to represent our company in the best light.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Set-Up & Breakdown: Arrive promptly at event venues, set up the booth, lighting, and our company promotions, which could be anything from product displays to interactive games, and ensure all equipment is safely packed up and returned to the office after the event.
- Event Execution: Work in the booth, engage with fans.
- Data Collection & Swag Distribution: Collect data from attendees and distribute promotional items in an engaging and friendly manner.
- Event Documentation: Capture pictures and event highlights for use in company promotions.
- Client Interaction: Be friendly and approachable, representing the company professionally and enthusiastically.
Event Venues:
Our events occur at college sports events and tailgates. Each event generally lasts 3 to 5 hours, with an additional hour each for set-up and breakdown (totaling a 5-hour shift for a 3-hour event).
Requirements:
- Availability: Must be available to work Saturdays.
- Transportation: Reliable transportation is essential.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude are a must.
- Personality: An outgoing, friendly personality with a genuine desire to meet new people.
- Experience: Experience dealing with customers face-to-face, ideally in the hospitality sector, is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Basic tablet and data collection knowledge is essential; full training will be provided.
- Attention to Detail: Attention to detail and the ability to manage tasks effectively under pressure.
