Job Description: Night Drayage Dispatcher
Location: Torrance, CA, 90501
Skills: Drayage Night Dispatcher
The Drayage Night Dispatcher will be responsible for coordinating and dispatching drayage trucks for night operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in the drayage industry and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and dispatch drayage trucks for night operations
- Communicate with drivers and customers to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery
- Resolve any issues or delays that may arise during the delivery process
- Maintain accurate records of all dispatch activities
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the drayage industry
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- 6:30am-3:30pm M-F
