Your Job Purpose:
As a Mechanical Facilities Lead specializing in Facilities, you will provide leadership and expertise to support Safety, Reliability, Quality, Environmental, and Cost objectives within the site organization.
Your Job Description:
- Safety Leadership: Take ownership of safety within your area of influence, ensuring all engineering activities prioritize safety objectives.
- Reliability and Uptime: Ensure that facility systems operate reliably to avoid manufacturing or operational impacts, meeting up-time goals to maintain continuous operations.
- Project Oversight: Oversee projects to ensure they meet design criteria, scope, budget, and schedule requirements, contributing to the successful implementation of facility enhancements or modifications.
- Engineering Solutions: Deliver operational efficiency, maintenance, testing, and commissioning solutions to optimize facility performance.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate closely with construction and operations teams to coordinate field work and ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions.
- Cost Optimization: Identify and implement opportunities to achieve the lowest cost of ownership for key stakeholders while maintaining reliability standards.
- Compliance and Standards: Work with the Site Facility management team, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with existing standards, specifications, building codes, and processes.
- Problem Solving and Validation: Utilize engineering skills and tools for systematic problem-solving and statistical validation of system performance, ensuring continuous improvement.
Job Requirements:Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline with 3 years of experience working in facilities or waste treatment systems.
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline with 2 years of experience working in facilities or waste treatment systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline with 5 years of experience working in facilities or waste treatment systems.
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline with 3 years of experience working in facilities or waste treatment systems.
- 3 years of experience in one or more of the following:
- Working in a production environment and/or with other facilities process systems.
- Project planning, coordination, and integration.
- Writing procedures, system specifications, and other forms of technical writing to support the sustaining of new equipment.
