What are the responsibilities and job description for the Low Voltage Technician position at LOUD Security Systems?

LOUD Security is currently accepting applications for Low-Voltage Tecnicians

Experience is not a prerequisite. However the ideal candidate will have experience wiring, installing and programming life safety systems including security, Access Control, CCTV and Fire systems.

Job Responsibilities (but not limited to):

Installation and/or service of security, access control and CCTV and Fire systems

Running, Pulling and fishing Low Voltage wire for Access, Fire, Security, CCTV, ETC.

Ability to terminate end devices such as: Maglocks, Strikes, Rex Devices, smokes, strobes, horns, pull stations, Security devices etc.

Understand and program Security system, Fire alarms, access control and CCTV systems.

Must be able to effectively work as part of a team and be a self-starter.

Prepares for Installation by reviewing orders; gathering equipment, supplies, and tools.

Teach other apprentice technicians how to properly inspect, and trouble shoot systems.

Maintains customer rapport by resolving concerns; answering questions.

Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications both as part of the job and as personal ongoing growth.

Experience/ Skills/ Qualifications:

2 years of experience programming, servicing and/or installing the above systems

Experience working in commercial, residential or industrial environments.

Ability to lift/move equipment and tools weighing up to 60 lbs.

Own and be able to use basic hand tools and industry specific tools

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Must be Reliable and Self Motivated,

Must have good Verbal Communication skills

Must be drug-free

Must have good driving record.

Compensation:

Negotiable based on experience

Paid bi-weekly

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $30.00 per hour
