Job Title: Maintenance Assistant
Department: Building and Grounds
Reports to: Facilities Manager
Employment Status: Part-Time, $15/hour
POSITION SUMMARY:
· The Maintenance Assistant will work with our facilities Manager to maintain operations of the Buildings and Grounds department, especially on weekends and Thursday evenings.
INSTITUTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

· Support the CAM’s mission, values, vision, and core commitment to the visitor experience, community engagement, and institutional relevancy for the future.
· Contribute to and support CAM’s strategic plan, annual priorities, and institutional initiatives.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Availability in the evenings and weekends. The hours are primarily Thursday evening through Sunday afternoon. Availability on those days is most crucial.
· Set up and clean up for museum events.
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
· Light cleaning and landscaping.
· Assist facility manager with daily tasks.
Essential Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities:
- Must be responsible, reliable, and able to arrive for shifts punctually.
- Able to adapt to a changing schedule of responsibilities.
- Takes instruction well.
