| Position Summary | Reporting to the Assistant Professor of Research, incumbent will provide research and evaluation capacity for programs. |
| Additional Position Information | The Section of Community and Population Medicine of the Department of Medicine at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans has an opening for a Program Manager for Research and Evaluation. Under the direction of the supervisor, incumbent will be responsible for research and evaluation capacity for programs oversight for section projects and collaborations with the Veterans Administration for the Section of Community and Population Medicine. Incumbent will develop and implement research and evaluation plans for the Section of Community and Population Medicine, conduct quantitative and qualitative data collection, and assist with managing research programs. Further, incumbent will manage research programs, including stakeholder communication, meeting management, and implementation of protocols and policies. Incumbent should be able to undertake operational initiatives in a fast-paced environment, have excellent organizational, written, and oral communications skills, and have experience handling confidential and sensitive information. The primary location for this position will be New Orleans and some travel will be involved. |
