Introduction

We are currently seeking a motivated and talented Vascular Lab Technician to join our team. As a Vascular Lab Technician, you will work in a fast-paced environment to provide high-quality vascular tests and treatments for our patients. Your primary responsibility will be to operate the vascular lab equipment and ensure accurate results. You will also assist the physicians in evaluating and diagnosing vascular diseases. You should have a strong knowledge of vascular systems and be comfortable working with both patients and physicians. Job Responsibilities

• Operate specialized medical imaging equipment (i.e. ultrasound, CT, MRI) to perform non-invasive diagnostic imaging studies of the vascular system
• Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the procedure, positioning, and answering any questions
• Record patient histories and vital signs to ensure accuracy of diagnostic imaging studies
• Monitor patient comfort and safety during exams
• Evaluate and analyze imaging studies, and document results
• Track and maintain records of exam results and patient data
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment as necessary
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and professional standards
• Participate in continuing education and training programs to stay current on best practices

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent, with certificate from Ultrasound sonography program required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of vascular technology and techniques

Certification Requriements

• Certification as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or a Registered Vascular Specialist (RVS)
• Current CPR certification
