Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Lovebond Behavioral Health is excited to announce we are currently hiring for a part-time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners to join our growing team. We are looking for passionate and driven individuals who enjoy helping children and adults achieve their potential and encourage them to do so everyday.

Job Duties & Responsibilities: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

• Performs medical/ psychiatric assessments.
• Performs medical evaluations of new patients upon admission and performs psychiatric evaluations as needed.
• Responsible for Medication Management.
• Responsible for providing medications according to approved formulary.
• Provides on-going patient education.

Education & Experience: Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

• Graduate of a Baccalaureate degree, and a specialty as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
• 1 year of PMHNP experience with prescribing medication preferred.
• Experience with E and M coding guidelines for billing
• Prior psychiatric experience is preferred
• Advanced practice degree PMHNP
• Certification with ANCC or ANA
• Must have an unrestricted Texas license as an APRN/CNS
• Must have prescriptive authority
