LovelySkin is searching for an innovative Front-End Developer who specializes in providing customers a great user experience, top website performance, and is both creatively and technically skilled in web developing. As a Front-End developer you will need to be well versed in JavaScript and capable of handling various dev tools such as HTML and CSS to ensure full website functionality. LovelySkin’s policy is that all employees be fully vaccinated for Covid-19 prior to their first day of employment.  Day in the life: As a Front-End Developer you will be responsible for developing the layout and overall look of the LovelySkin website to ensure it is user-friendly, interactive, and aligns with company aesthetics. LovelySkin’s Front-End Developers proactively and collaboratively implement design features to cater to our growing customer base that seeks a first-class website experience. Develop, test, and deploy ecommerce platform features, optimizations, bug fixes and integrations.  Write high-performance, scalable, and reusable code. Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.  Be self-driven and proactive, with the ability to work both independently and in groups. Maintain strong troubleshooting, problem-solving and analytical skills while managing multiple projects, deadlines and priorities. Take part in a team that is responsible for designing, supporting, and managing web pages to ensure our customers are provided with the best possible online experience. Troubleshoot and resolve issues, problems, and errors that may be encountered across the website along with other internal applications and systems. Accurately identify specific issues in user experience and provide recommendations and solutions to adhere to design needs. About You: Minimum of 2 years of JavaScript experience at an industry level is essential. Degree in Computer Science or similar technical discipline, or equivalent professional web development experience. Strong understanding of the JavaScript language, including the latest features in ES6 and beyond. Experience with the latest features and practices in HTML and CSS, including responsive web design. Knowledgeable about browser quirks and cross-browser compatibility issues. Proficient in writing maintainable, reusable code, and in debugging legacy and new code. Familiarity with front-end build processes and tools, such as Sass, Less, npm, Babel, webpack and gulp. Experience with front-end libraries and frameworks, such as jQuery, Angular and React. Knowledge of TypeScript, C# and ASP.NET is a plus.
