Audit and Compliance Specialist
The Audit and Compliance Analyst reports directly to the GRC Manager and works closely with the Compliance Manager and other subject matter experts from across the enterprise. The Audit and Compliance Analyst performs internal audit functions and reviews to ensure the company meets its compliance obligations.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Works with various internal groups to gather needed information for IT regulatory audits
- Liaison with external and third-party auditors
- Acts as the gatekeeper for IT regulatory audits and supports the collection of data
- Coordinates all aspects of IT regulatory audits (e.g., pre-site deliverables, audits/assessments, on-site visits, written responses to audit reports, etc.)
- Identifies gaps/actions in cases of non-compliance and collaborates with solution owners to design and implement the appropriate controls
- Works with Asset Owners to perform user access reviews on a variety of internal systems
- Performs reviews of elevated and privileged accounts for applicability
- Supports compliance training and awareness efforts to maintain accountability and compliance with policies and regulations
- Analyzes, understands, and articulates regulatory and contractual requirements and applies identified requirements to business operations when supporting audits
- Leads initiatives to implement or enhance systems and processes to support IT Compliance
- Monitors changes to standards, requirements, and controls for applicable compliance obligations (e.g., SOX, PCI, GLBA, etc.)
- Provides support to projects for ongoing risk and compliance initiatives
- Performs basic procedures necessary to ensure the continuation of core IT risk and compliance functions
- Escalates any non-compliant findings to the GRC Manager immediately
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree with a concentration in Security, Computer Science, Accounting, or Information Technology preferred
- 2 years relevant experience in IT security, accounting, and/or Big 4 Experience
- CISA and/or CIA certification beneficial
- Knowledge with industry standards such as SOX, PCI, GLBA, NIST, CRPA, etc. beneficial
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing to audiences of various technical levels across the organization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail in documenting and performing reviews
- Must present strong customer service skill to all internal and external parties
- Ability to travel up to 10%
