Drafter/Designer

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Drafter to join our team. As a Drafter, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software. Your attention to detail and ability to interpret specifications will be crucial in producing accurate and precise drawings. Responsibilities:
- Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings based on project specifications
- Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to understand project requirements
- Review and analyze technical documents, sketches, and rough drafts
- Make necessary revisions to drawings based on feedback and changes in project scope
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of all drawings and related documentation
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals and presentations

Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Drafter or similar role
- Proficient in the CAD software SolidWorks
- Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles
- Familiarity with commercial food equipment is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret technical specifications
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
- Effective communication skills to interact with colleagues and clients

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
