What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr Dir Delivery Ops Execution position at Lowes?
Essential Functions:
• Oversees the conversions of 1700 Lowe’s stores from red vest to 3PL delivery.
• Provides executive leadership and stakeholders with key insights and feedback on business operations.
• Directs multiple teams responsible for the build-out of Market Delivery and Pro Fulfillment Networks.
• Manages the Market Delivery and Pro Fulfillment Networks Portfolio Management.
• Oversees strategic initiatives within Market Delivery and Pro Fulfillment including performance monitoring, key metrics reporting and measurement, data integrity issue resolution and identification, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Leads essential training of the Market Delivery and Pro Fulfillment Networks establishing key relationships with 3PL service providers, Lowe’s Supply Chain functional teams, Lowe’s distribution nodes (RDC, BDC, ADC, CDT, etc.), and store operations.
• Leads facility start-ups and new process development leveraging team for project support and assistance.
• Defines, coordinates, and executes logistics’ plan (network inbound / outbound / storage) data collection and analysis to support the evaluation of needed resources as supply chain workflow conditions and store demand changes
• Produces departmental reporting as needed to support group / business needs and goals as well as future-state discussions and improvement initiatives
• Manages internal tools and directs individuals to monitor results, alerting supply chain management to trends or conditions that may adversely impact supply chain operations and identifying opportunities to improve flow
• Oversees Portfolio Management for Market Delivery, Pro Fulfillment, and Final Mile.
• Supports content management for strategic discussions including CEO updates, Top 4 Omni Fulfillment, and Pro Fulfillment.
• Acts as centralized contact to effectively root cause processes when moving in and out of function, disseminates effective messaging across the Supply Chain organization.
Minimum Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain/Logistics, Transportation, Business, Engineering or similar field
• 10 years of business leadership experience in Supply Chain, Distribution, Store Operations or related field
• 10 years of leadership experience with direct report responsibility
• 8 years of leading large project implementation efforts
Preferences:
• Past consulting experience a plus
• CPIM, CSCP or related Supply Chain certification
