Purpose of Role:
Pro Pricing Strategy: Responsible for the development and execution pricing strategies to support our Pro business. Activities include partnering with Pro sales teams to design pricing programs that meet the needs of various professional customer segments, working with Merchants to test and execute profitable pricing actions, and collaborating with Finance & IT teams to develop reporting and analytics to drive greater insights into the business.
Responsibility Statements:
Optimize Pricing Tactics: This role will lead and develop the team responsible for ensuring Lowe's Pro customer pricing strategies are implemented, measured, and optimized through the use of strategic pricing and modeling tools. This includes responsibility for driving the process to measure and monitor price & promotional strategies and tactics through the use of dashboards, visual analytics, and scorecards.
Lead Strategic Initiatives: This position will play a leading role in identifying and driving key strategic priorities for Lowe's, including but not limited to, program marketing, offer localization, and/or customer segmentation. This role is charged with understanding customers' values, business strategies and determining optimal approaches for meeting their needs. Each project will be tailored to achieve the desired goals, and through this role, the Sr. Manager will provide leadership and guidance to the team.
Develop Analytics & Insights: In this role, the Sr. Manager will develop and optimize pricing programs designed to drive sales with professional customers at Lowe's. This role will lead a team of analysts to apply advanced analytical concepts in support of designing and executing Lowe's pricing strategy. This team will assist Lowe's in understanding the effectiveness of various strategies and promotions and will partner closely with Technology to develop tools and capabilities for use by the Pricing organization.
