Loxo@Lilly conducts discovery research, clinical development and regulatory affairs for oncology, with the goal of creating a pipeline of therapies that have the potential to make a meaningful difference for patients. Loxo@Lilly was created in December 2019, combining the Lilly Research Laboratories oncology organization and Loxo Oncology, which was acquired by Lilly in early 2019. The unit has team members in Louisville, CO, Indianapolis, IN, New York City, NY, South San Francisco, CA, San Diego, CA, Stamford, CT, and Madrid, Spain.
Position Summary:
· Drive implementation of a drug development strategy for a simple to complex assets, including a platform of moderate to complex assets
· Accountable for the translation of the marketing, medical, manufacturing and regulatory needs for the molecule/new indication/line extension into a single global integrated plan.
· Accountable for delivery of global, integrated plan deliverables for the asset in alignment with the global strategy and plan
· Accountable for quality and organizational excellence of the assigned team, including performance of cross-functional/corporate
processes.
· Lead the application and integration of key project management processes and tools across teams to deliver asset and portfolio value with quality on time, on budget and within scope.
· Effectively manage upward and cross-functional communication, anticipate and resolve issues with the team, asset and portfolio in mind, ensure documentation of key team/asset information and decisions, and ensure project management systems are up to date.
· Experts in integrated drug development, drug discovery and project management within and external to the department.
· Serve as a deep technical project management expert and evaluate and pilot, if appropriate, innovative project management processes, tools.
