As an Underwriter, you will be responsible for:
- Receiving and handling inbound calls from agents, policyholders and other stakeholders regarding endorsement requests, cancellations, reinstatements, inspections, missing information and other underwriting requirements based on company guidelines.
- Evaluating and determining policy cancellations or reinstatements, modification of coverage forms or limits within company guidelines.
- Maintaining accurate file documentation in accordance with company guidelines.
- Participate in projects and other duties as assigned.
We are looking for candidates who are:
- Exceptional at managing their time and know how to prioritize.
- Experience in both non-standard and standard insurance coverage is a plus.
- Fully bilingual in written and spoken English and Spanish is a requirement.
- Must have the ability to work in a fast paced environment.
