Job Description:

Loyola Blakefield’s Science Department is seeking a high school science teacher who exhibits commitment to the Jesuit mission of the school. Our science curriculum is a college preparatory program with classes offered at grade level, honors level, and Advanced Placement. This teacher will teach two of the following courses: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Engineering.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Teach a full course load; 5 classes and proctoring
• Participate in co-curricular, service and retreat opportunities with students
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with students, parents, colleagues and administrators
• Other duties as assigned

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess:

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in biology, chemistry, physics or related field and three years of successful teaching or related job experience at the middle school or high school level.
