Duties and Responsibilities
Develops and maintains the academic schedule for more than 600 undergraduate and graduate courses in collaboration with deans, department chairs, and program directors. Inputs and maintains academic schedule into LOCUS, ensuring that all entries are correct and completed according to designated deadline.
Gathers, prepares, and presents statistics and analyses on class scheduling and enrollment trends for deans and department chairs. Makes recommendations on numbers of class sections needed by department/program for each term. Works with assistant and associate deans and department chairs to manage process.
Oversees completion of external surveys (e.g., rankings, AACSB).
Completes special projects for Dean’s Office and Leadership Hub as a program assistant to deans and directors.
Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education and/or Work Experience
Some college required; bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. Three to five years of related experience in an office setting; some supervisory experience preferred.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and at least five years experience in administrative position in a complex organization preferred.
Strong analytical and communication skills required. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions in a group setting. Experience working in a complex organization.

Computer Skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (high proficiency in Excel), Internet and email applications. Working knowledge of or ability to quickly learn internal software required.
Ability to learn LOCUS student information system and other software to assist with academic schedule development.
