Job Overview:
Marketing Solutions is looking for a leader to oversee content operations. This role is responsible for the day-to-day operations to ensure that the necessary people, processes and technology exist to execute the content strategy. The content operations manager will create and update policies and procedures for content operations.
Responsibilities:
Ability to be well-organized and efficient at managing time to meet target deadlines with minimal supervision and ability to cope well under pressure. Review all project requests, determine appropriate work tier, initiate jobs in workflow tool, prioritize and schedule jobs with appropriate internal resource, by tier and type of work
Streamline and/or define content workflows to ensure maximum efficiency, appropriate timelines, and inclusion of all necessary tasks
Work with internal business partners to onboard new technology vendors and drive adoption across all users
Secure new vendors and be the main point-of-contact for the relationships with external vendors
Manage an annual budget, navigating between keeping a lean budget while sourcing a large, effective content library
Train new hires on processes and technology tools
Lead the team effectively through new approaches, processes and tools; resulting in adoption
Maintain and grow existing relationships with clients/agencies and liaise with colleagues in other offices
Use the appropriate channels and methods to share the efficacy of content across Marketing Solutions, LPL Business Solutions and LPL
Be a driver of new content, platforms and opportunities that do not currently exist and will meet the needs of our subscribers
Collaborate with key stakeholders and business partners including LPL Research, Compliance, Procurement, Finance, Product and more
Requirements:
7 years’ experience
3 years’ of people management experience
Knowledge of the Financial Services industry
Vendor management experience
Has the ability to work independently with all levels of management and in a team environment, across multiple time zones
Demonstrated knowledge of general management and leadership principles
Preferences:
Knowledge of the Financial Services industry

The salary range is dependent on a number of factors, including the applicant’s skill, experience, and work location.
