Job Description
The Office Administrator will coordinate and manage administrative activities that support and foster a professional office environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greets guests and team members in a professional and courteous manner.
- Oversees telephone services, scheduling of conference rooms, mail distribution, postage equipment, etc.
- Acts as a liaison with the postal service and shipping services for both inbound and outbound shipments.
- Supports our colleagues to organize and facilitate office activities and functions to maintain efficiency.
- Assists accounting and other colleagues with their assigned duties.
- Assists team members with office supply needs.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to function well in a high paced environment.
- Full understanding of how to operate standard business equipment including postage, laminating, printers, scanners, and plotters.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite related business programs.
Education and Experience:
- HS diploma or GED required; Associates degree in office administration, communications, marketing or relevant work experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to life up to 50 pounds at times.
