We are looking for a People Analytics & Technology Specialist to join our team and help our organization optimize the performance of our HR systems and technical reporting and analytics.
About the role
This position is a hybrid role with a heavy focus on analytics and data management paired with HRIS application management responsibilities. As the People Analytics & Technology Specialist, your responsibilities include gathering data, optimizing the performance of current HRIS, technology and other web platforms, and making recommendations to improve reporting metrics within the HR team and cross-functionally across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Perform HRIS application upgrades, as well as provide training and technical support
- Develop and implement new processes and systems for efficient HRIS & HR Technology platforms
- Optimize HRIS & Technology processes, integrate new software, and perform routine audits to ensure accurate and up to date employee data
- Perform statistical analysis and reporting on HRIS data and run queries
- Ensure the efficient recording and secure storage of HR metrics, including employee performance data
- Perform audits on HR processes and documents, including hiring, termination of service, and payroll administration, when required
- Keep track of technological advancements and trends in the field of HRIS and Excel reporting
- Maintain all functions of the HRIS system, including updates on employee data, benefit plan set up, performance management and onboarding modules, open enrollment, improve workflow administration and maintain interface between systems
- Conduct analytical analysis of data as it pertains to the HRIS, projects or existing HR operational data and provide conclusions or recommendations based on the findings
- Provide reporting to Compensation and Accounting for benefits billing and reconciliation

Perform regularly scheduled audits on employee HRIS data.
- Create regularly scheduled reports and ad-hoc reports as needed.
- Improved, streamlined and accelerated processes for creating reports and performing audits by creating technical databases, SQL queries, and Excel formulas
- Survey Completion - Responsible for data and/or completion of HR surveys, company surveys and data inquiries (i.e. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) Survey, Occupational Employer Reporting, Annual Census, Occupational Employment Statistics (OES) Survey, etc.)
- Create HR reporting and benchmarking reports and presentations for HR People Strategy internally and externally for Employer Branding initiatives.
- Responsible for HRIS and vendor integration (i.e. setting up, troubleshooting and terminating file feeds)
- Responsible for completing and assisting HR team with data integrity questionnaires in regards to privacy and cybersecurity on prospective vendors, systems and HR upgrades, as applicable.
- Analyzes data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, engagement, turnover, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
- Responsible for addressing a high volume of system-related inquiries in a timely fashion while maintaining a high level of quality and internal customer satisfaction
- Prepares reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to HR leadership.
- Review, follow, and provide input to HR Operations team objectives.
- Provide ideas, solutions, and tools to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of HR service processing.

Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Information Technology, Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field required.- Have 3-5 years of human resource experience working with HR data and reporting.
- Are knowledgeable of ADP Workforcenow or similar HRIS system
- Have proven work experience, relevant training and/or certifications as an HRIS Analyst or similar role
- Have proven abilities with data analytics and the maintenance of confidential information
- Have broad and in-depth understanding of human resources policies and processes.
- Have capacity to manage and deliver based on multiple priorities
- Have a strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Are a strategic thinker
- Have the ability to interact and collaborate with multiple stakeholders
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Are able to work with highly confidential data
- Data analysis and presentation skills
- Are proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Havc advanced Excel skills to include the following:
- Ability to enter data in pre-existing models and reports, run reports created by others
- Ability to keep the end user in mind when developing data outputs (reports, graphs, tables, etc.) so they are intuitive and meaningful reporting templates
- Overall solid Excel skills including pivot tables, data tables, lookup functions and logical references
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desirable.
