Oklahoma City, Oklahoma or Remote Position, preferably in the New York City Metro Area. The Investor Relations and Communications Specialist will work across the IR and Communications functions in a complex, fast-paced environment. We're looking for a dedicated IR professional, with a background in communications who is seeking the opportunity to make a significant impact both internally and externally while partnering with other departments across the company.

Reporting to the Vice President, Investor Relations (VP IR) and Director of Communications (DoC), the Sr. Investor Relations and Communications Professional will work closely with the VP IR and the DoC. The position will support day-to-day investor relations activities, while also developing external and internal communications content, and will have frequent contact with senior leaders, external investors, and sell-side analysts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Investor Relations

  • Maintain investor relations calendar of earnings dates, investor conferences, non-deal roadshows, medical meetings, etc.
  • Enter investor meetings into database and produce summary and analysis reports on a monthly basis
  • Draft press releases announcing earnings dates and conference participation and issue press releases through external vendor as needed
  • Monitor and circulate peer group and industry news
  • Regularly update reports summarizing peer group comparative valuation and analyst estimates for LSB
  • Handle all logistics and provide administrative support for earnings calls, investor conferences, non-deal roadshows, and other events including registration, securing webcasts, meeting scheduling, etc.
  • Prepare briefing documents for all investor meetings, including conference, non-deal roadshows, etc., and provide to senior management

Corporate Communications

  • Content Creation
      • In coordination with DoC, develop, write and pitch favorable news article ideas about LSB to local/national media, including interviews with LSB executive team
      • In coordination with DoC, develop, write, and pitch op-eds or other articles from LSB executive team to local/national media
      • Video scripts
      • Employee-related content (intranet articles, etc.)
  • Assist with maintaining external web site (ESG, IR, Careers, etc.)
  • Other duties, as needed

Important skills include:

  • Solid understanding of public equity market, as well as key financial statements and metrics
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of principles of communications, including clear and effective writing skills, creative conceptualization, and execution
  • Outstanding project management skills; organize a busy workload and fastidious about meeting deadlines
  • Self-starter who can multi-task and effectively manage priorities with an ability to think big picture while also adept at translating information into action
  • High proficiency Microsoft Office; Adobe Creative Suite a plus
  • Must have outstanding eye for detail, whether it be a written document, design project, photograph, video, or something completely different.
  • Drive to learn and understand what is happening within the company and industry and help find creative ways to communicate companys role across all audiences.


  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive responsibility in Corporate Communications, with some Investor Relations experience preferred. Experience in working for a publicly traded company preferred.
  • Excellent written communication skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Track record of developing engaging external and internal communications.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects from beginning to end with minimal supervision.
  • Bachelors degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Communications, Public Relations, Integrated Marketing, Journalism, Business or related field

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma or remote work may be considered, preferably in the New York City Metro Area.

Salary: $80K - $90K
