Warehouse Clerk

Role Purpose Statement

Administrative position with responsibility for providing general support to the warehouse. Responsible for inventory record keeping and orders, and the Vessel Supplies for Immediate Exportation (VSIE) process.

Main Accountabilities

Maintain all physical inventory of equipment and supplies

Perform record keeping in storage warehouse

Keep warehouse address system

Make sure proper First in First Out (FIFO) of products is being followed

Ensure proper handling of expired products

Keeping an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse.

Manage rotating supplies and the imbalance of these goods

Audit orders and report shortages, backorders, and damage

Manage and keep proper record keeping of VSIEs

Determine quantity of warehouse goods to order

Coordinate return of goods following return guidelines

Interact with internal and external customers

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

High School Diploma or related experience

2-3 years clerical / materials / warehouse purchasing experience

Familiarity with Vessel Supplies for Immediate Exportation (VSIE) requirements a plus

Ability to work with minimum supervision

Must have strong analytical, verbal, written, interpersonal and organizational skills

Must have a valid driver’s license and good driving record

Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel spreadsheets

Must be available to work early schedule, weekends, and holidays (if scheduled)

Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division)
