To meet our ongoing corporate growth strategy, we are seeking a qualified sales development representative (SDR) to find and screen potential customers who can benefit from our products and services. This position is based in our corporate office in Layton, Utah.

Job Summary

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) conveys LSI’s products and services as the first line of communication with prospective clients. They manage every potential customer as an opportunity to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.

Job Responsibilities

  • Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding new potential sales outlets
  • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives for next steps
  • Identify best practices to refine the company’s lead generation playbook
  • Utilize CRM, cold calling, and email to generate new sales opportunities
  • Identify prospect's needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with prospects to qualify leads as sales opportunities
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
  • Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) customers and sales executives
  • Report weekly, monthly, and quarterly results

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Strong understanding of the sales process, starting new relationships, and setting our sales closers up for success.
  • Strong communication skills in-person, via phone, and email; and the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way.
  • Proven creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
  • Meet Sales goals by monitoring progress

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with CRM software, database, and tracking tools
  • Prior experience as an SDR with a track record of achieving sales quotes

Education and Experience

  • Associate degree and/or at least 2 years of relevant work experience

Additional Details

  • This a hybrid position.   
  • Compensation is based on experience
  • Uncapped Monthly Commission
  • Reports to the Sr. Vice President of Business Development
