Description:
Provides technical expertise to LSPI’s internal and external customers for optimization of Flow Improver performance. Receives functional guidance from the Manager of Engineering & Technical Services. Role is not limited to the below listed responsibilities and may include other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Participates in all assigned training programs with the goal of learning Flow Improver Technology and developing technical expertise.
- Provide expertise in the utilization of Flow Improver products in pipeline operations and provide technical support to Flow Improver sales force.
- Provide hydraulic modeling expertise of the customer’s pipeline in support of Flow Improver marketing activities.
- Provide consulting to all LSPI and our customers around the flow improver technology and best utilization of LSPI’s products and services.
- Become fluent at utilizing LSPI’s proprietary software for pipeline modeling and prediction of product performance in the customer’s pipelines.
- Manage LSPI’s proprietary modeling tools to ensure accuracy and ease-of-use. Work with I.S. staff to assure timely delivery of fixes and enhancements.
- Become proficient in multi-phase flow to the business. Help guide optimal use of Flow Improver product in this type of application.
- Assist with analysis and correlation of all field test data to continuously improve the performance prediction equations for various LSPI products.
- Be a resource on Flow Improver expertise to both internal and external customers to help resolve any technical issues around the utilization of LSPI products.
- Mentor and train new LSPI engineers in technical areas, which includes basic hydraulic training.
- Manage, drive and document assigned Continuous Improvement projects to completion in a way that meets internal and external customer needs and ISO quality standards.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline.
- 10 years of industry experience.
- 5 years pipeline hydraulics experience.
- Advanced understanding of fluid mechanics preferred.
- Emerson PLO experience preferred.
