Office Administrator

Job Overview

Our firm is in need of a professional administrator. Work includes providing administrative support to our managers and employees and managing our company's general administrative activities. These include preparing reports, maintaining accurate filing systems, light accounting/bookkeeping, accounts payable, payroll and human resource duties when onboarding new employees. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using Microsoft Office programs and other office equipment. Our office environment has a casual dress code and paid holidays. If you have previous experience as a secretary or executive assistant, we'd like to meet you.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and maintain files and databases in a confidential manner
  • Manage communication including emails and phone calls
  • Screen phone calls, redirect calls, and take messages
  • Schedule appointments, meetings, and reservations as needed
  • Receive deliveries; sort and distribute incoming mail
  • Maintain and order office supplies
  • Perform other administrative support tasks, including but not limited to: updating and sorting files, drafting and proofreading correspondence, and conducting research

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. associate's degree in Business Administration preferred.
  • 2-3 years of clerical, secretarial, or office experience
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Data entry experience
  • The ability to work independently and seek help or assistance as needed
  • Self-motivated and highly organized
  • Distinctly dependable and trustworthy, with a strong and proven work ethic

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
