The Pick & Pack Supervisor will support the Pick and Pack Manager and supervise, monitor, and drive the order processing of all Pick and Pack orders in our warehouse. This position, reporting to the Pick & Pack Manager, ensures packing standards and deadlines are met. Supports the prioritizing of orders, to meet daily productivity goals and comply with customer’s packing requirements for Carhartt and Adidas product. Partners with Pick and Pack management team to coordinate and follow operations, related to special orders/projects, service, inventory control and continuation of orders processing. This position is helps with the training and supports the coaching of all employees in that function, including feedback for performance assessments and recommendations for promotions and disciplinary action. Responsible for all compliance related to company’s policies and procedures as well as safety guidelines. Position will also assist and support immediate supervisors with all functions related to pick and pack and warehouse activities.

Responsibilities:

· Supports the Pick and Pack Manager to receive and helps direct the workflow to pick and pack associates for processing, coordinates with pickers, customer service office, wave generators and shipping office for prompt processing. Partners with Pick and Pack management team to coordinate processing and support each other’s work. To work as a team.

· Assists in the process of selection, training and performance management for the Distribution Center associates in the order filling department. To conduct staff meetings and discuss issues related to order processing and departments updates.

· Monitors work processes and analyzes daily productivity data for modifications in order to improve efficiency and accuracy for the purpose of improving costs; implements changes as directed or needed. Responsible to meet daily productivity goals. Including replenishment and stocking activities.

· Helps the training, coaching, motivating and supervising temp associates. To partner with HR and warehouse management team to handle employee’s relations issues. Requests proper number of temps associates base on the need of the business and adjust staff headcount accordantly.

· Responsible for the compliance of all appropriate warehouse policies, procedures, safety rules and regulations.

· Supports the Pick and Pack Manager to oversees the quality of packing, conducts random packages audits for the purpose of quality control protecting items to ensure merchandise received by our customers arrives in a satisfactory manner.

· Will interact with customer service to improve order release logistics.

· Must be willing to participate in physical inventory as scheduled.

· May interact with customers in resolving order filling issues.

· Performs related duties as assigned.

Education and Qualifications:

· Minimum two (2) years directly related and progressive managerial level experience.

· Strong understanding of the distribution Center environment

· Bachelor’s degree in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or equivalent combination of experience and education.

· Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

· Must be willing to work extended hours, as needed, in order to meet productivity goals.

· Proven ability to build effective teams and lead through influence and collaboration.

· Understands the importance of driving results along with the art of driving results with their team members.

· Experienced in continuous improvement/lean and change management.

· Commitment and flexibility to work various shifts (day/second/third/week days/weekends) as needed by the business.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to collaborate and work well across different teams.

  • Reports to Pick and Pack Manager
  • Direct Reports

Status:

· Non - Exempt (salaried, but gets paid overtime)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

  • Browns Summit, NC 27214: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

  • Warehouse experience: 1 year (Preferred)
