CERTIFICATES, LICENCES, REGISTRATIONS: High School Diploma or GED certificate. Possess a valid Texas Driver's. A valid Peace Officer Certification from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE).

The officer must also be constantly aware of and manage a professional appearance, and perform all duties in a professional manner. The employee must be able to complete a one mile run in under 12:30 minutes; be able to complete 20 pushups in a minute, and 20 sit- ups in a minute.
