As a New Business Development Representative, you will build lasting relationships with clients and prospects in your area, taking a consultative approach to meeting their transportation needs.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Develop and execute sales plan to meet organization’s revenue goals
  • Self-generate sales opportunities through cold calling, prospecting, networking and other efforts.
  • Build and maintain long-term, professional relationships with clients and prospects throughout your territory.
  • Manage all aspects of the sales cycle, including: lead generation, lead qualification, presenting solutions, close, and delight.
  • Collaborate with leadership team on marketing and sales initiatives
  • Document and report all sales activity to leadership team.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of B2B sales experience preferred. Transportation and manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Work Conditions:

  • Daily road travel is required.
