Job Duties:
- Lead efforts to increase inventory accuracy and control by partnering with key stakeholders
- Supervises and trains Inventory Control and Receiving personnel
- Identifies and brings resolution to issues impacting Supply Chain and Production
- Coordinates and manages physical cycle counts, as needed to ensure inventory accuracy
- Conducts regular inventory analysis to solve inventory related issues
- Ensures product stock is adequate for all distribution channels and can cover direct demand
- Monitors, analyzes and reports demand and documents inventory characteristics
- Initiates and carries out projects that improve inventory blend to compliment program and business goals
- Maintain product identification and location program.
- Research inventory discrepancies and conduct Root Cause Analysis on inventory discrepancies.
- Responsible for completing physical inventories/cycle counts/random or receipt audits/reconciliations.
- Track and report non-conforming product.
- Communicate and Resolve inventory problems in a timely manner.
- Document damaged product.
- Ensure VMI count is accurate
- Present weekly reports on cycle count status
Qualifications
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED (Community college study a plus)
- 3-5 years warehouse experience doing inventory counts/cycle counts
- Skillful with computers and computer software (Syteline, Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
- Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Applicants must have the ability to read, speak, and write English.
- Physical Requirements (Ability to do the following up to 10 hours per shift):
- Walk, stand, sit, bend, twist/turn, kneel, squat, crawl
- Reach outward or above the shoulder
- Lift, carry, push, or pull 15-45 pounds
- Repetitive use of hands and fingers
- Depth perceptions required
- Ability to distinguish basic colors and shades of color
