What are the responsibilities and job description for the Haul Truck Operator - 2nd Shift position at Luck Companies?
Luck Stone's South Richmond Plant is looking to hire a Haul Truck Operator. for its 2nd shift (12 PM to 9 PM). Haul Truck Operators skillfully navigate quarry roads and berms to ensure the safe loading and unloading of rock into the primary crushers. Hourly pay rate begins at $20.00 per hour but the hourly rate can increase based on the individual's experience.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Pre-shift and post-shift inspection of the vehicle
- Identifying and reporting rode, high wall, and equipment issues
- Operating heavy equipment utilizing proper loading and dumping techniques
- Ensures vehicle receives proper maintenance
- Willingness to assist with projects and activities other than heavy equipment operation around the site when needed.
- Prioritizes safety throughout the site for self and others
- Aiding coworkers to ensure that the site is clean and organized at the end of each shift
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in a quarry or large construction environment is a plus.
- Must have a team-oriented, positive outlook toward work and accomplishing goals.
